How to configure the internet settings for different networks in Nigeria MTN, AIRTEL, GLO, ETISALAT

Without the proper configuration, your connection to the internet will become very difficult and tiring. Even if you eventually get connected somehow, you will find out that there are some website you wont be able to visit, you might be getting dns error. So without much ado, let's dive into the configuration for each network

MTN Internet Configuration

To configure your Mtn line for browsing on an android phone, simply go to your settings, under mobile network, locate and find access point names. Open this access point name and enter the following settings

• First click on the plus( +) sign to add new access point details
• After that click on name and add MTNGPRS
• For Apn, enter web.mtnnigeria.net
• Leave the proxy and port blank
• For username enter Web
• for password enter Web
• leave every other thing and move down to Authentication type, choose Pap or Chap
• For Apn protocol, choose Ipv4/Ipv6

Now click Save, and that's all. You can then on your data connection and start browsing the internet the way you want

GLO Internet Configuration

 

To configure your Glo line for browsing on an android phone, simply go to your settings, under mobile network, locate and find access point names. Open this access point name and enter the following settings

• First click on the plus( +) sign to add new access point details
• After that click on name and add GLOSECURE
• For Apn, enter glosecure
• Leave the proxy and port blank
• For username enter Secure
• For password enter Secure
• leave every other thing and move down to Authentication type, choose Pap or Chap
• For Apn protocol, choose Ipv4/Ipv6

Now click Save, and that's all. You can then on your data connection and start browsing the internet the way you want

AIRTEL Internet Configuration

To configure your Airtel line for browsing on an android phone, simply go to your settings, under mobile network, locate and find access point names. Open this access point name and enter the following settings

• First click on the plus( +) sign to add new access point details
• After that click on name and add Airtel Internet
• For Apn, enter www.airtelinternet.net
• Leave the proxy and port blank
• For username enter Internet
• For password enter Internet
• leave every other thing and move down to Authentication type, choose Pap or Chap
• For Apn protocol, choose Ipv4/Ipv6

Now click Save, and that's all. You can then on your data connection and start browsing the internet the way you want

ETISALAT Internet Configuration

To configure your Etisalat line for browsing on an android phone, simply go to your settings, under mobile network, locate and find access point names. Open this access point name and enter the following settings

• First click on the plus( +) sign to add new access point details
• After that click on name and add Etisalat wap
• For Apn, enter etisalat
• Leave the proxy and port blank
• Leave username Blank
• Leave password Blank
• leave every other thing and move down to Authentication type, choose Pap or Chap
• For Apn protocol, choose Ipv4/Ipv6

Now click Save, and that's all. You can then on your data connection and start browsing the internet the way you want.
