When you get some android phones, especially those U.K used phones, you may have experienced something like a dns error when you try to use the Play store or the phone browser. Today i will be showing how you can solve that issue, and browse with your phone at the network speed available. let's dive right in
So all you have to do is just enter into your phone's setting and navigate to the Network section, there you'll find a setting that read access point. Now all you have to do is just follow the instruction below and you're good to go
Now that you have opened your access point settings, setup like this
- First click on the plus( +) sign to add new access point details
- After that click on name and enter the appropriate network setting name
- For Apn, enter the appropriate network setting apn
- Now this part is where your dns issue comes from:
- Clean anything you have in the port address and save it. {leave it blank}
- Clean anything you have in the proxy address and save it {leave it blank}
- That should solve your dns error problem
- For username enter Web
- for password enter Web
- leave every other thing and move down to Authentication type, choose Pap or Chap
- For Apn protocol, choose Ipv4/Ipv6
Now click Save, and that's all. You can then on your data connection and start browsing the internet the way you want. To get the full internet configuration for all network click here
