Many times I have come across phones that have this charging problem ( especially Nokia phones and some feature phone). I change the charging port but still get the same issue and when I use my multimeter, I get readings that there's a supply. Watching many tutorial on YouTube still no solution, I didn't stop until one day I came across a particular video....voila, this video tutorial solved the issues for an itel feature phone, so i decided to try it on this nokia 105 (ta-1410), and to my surprise, it worked also. So, I will try to explain the entire process on this post and post a link to the video at the end of the post. Let's dive in
Things you'll need
Multimeter
Heat gun or soldering iron
Any android motherboard ( dead one) since you'll be removing components from it
Lead
The phone you want to repair
Step by step guide
First thing is bring out the board you wish to repair. Now, what we need from the dead android board is a resistor ( one with a resistance value of 5k - 10k). To check the resistance value, set your multimeter to 20k. When you find one, use your soldering iron or heat gun to remove it. Now, back to the phone you want to fix. The resistor goes between the negative terminal and bsi(middle) terminal. You have to bridge this two terminals with this resistor and your problem is solved. Please leave a comment if this solution works for you, thank you.
